Over 20 years ago, I was an Art Director in New York City for 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙋𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨, a weekly local newspaper for residents of Manhattan. The publication had multiple editions, a significant amount of pages, a large, capable staff, and insane deadlines.

At the time, I was a print art director, but as the dot.com era came crashing in, I knew things had to change and I'd miss my dedicated, hard-working staff. Upon my departure from 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩, I received many letters of recommendation from beautiful co-workers that I held in high esteem.
